How do we do that is based on our expertise and vetting process for tutors. Below are some basic questions that will help you with your decision in registering and finding the right tutor with us.
1) Can I find Tutors for all subjects?
a. No, only the core subjects which are mentioned below
i. Math
ii. Physics,
iii. Chemistry,
iv. Sciences (Biology & Zoology)
v. English
2) Which grades are taught by your Tutors?
a. Grades 8 through 12
3) Do your Tutors coach students for SAT and ACT exam prep?
a. Yes course
4) How much is the cost per hour for 1-on-1 tutoring per subject
a. Maximum of $35 / hr. (Depends on the subject and the experience of the tutor which may not exceed the maximum hourly cost mentioned here)
5) One of my Parent or both my parents are Teachers at a local school, can they teach?
a. Of course they can (share our link https://www.guru2shishya.com/Tutor )
6) How long would be each session by a tutor?
a. Depends on what you and the Tutor agree on, minimum is 1 hr.
7) What do I need in order to get online tutoring?
a. Computer with internet connection
b. Skype ID that you would share with your tutor or Tutor would share theirs (only for tutoring session purposes, you may want to create a separate id for this purpose)
8) Do I need parents’ permission to register?
a. No
9) What if you find a Tutor for me, then do I need parents’ permission?
a. Yes if you are under 18 and not yet considered an adult and tutoring fee is being paid by your parents.
